Congratulations to Wren Tuatha for three pieces of publishing news:

She was awarded 2nd place and an honorable mention for her poems “What Passerines Know” and “complicit friction” in her local paper’s poetry contest, Poetry99:https://chicoblog.newsreview.com/2020/04/10/poetry-99/

The print edition of Inverted Syntax with her poem, “Couture, 1979,” is out: https://www.invertedsyntax.com/store/p4/print-issue.html  (Her poem is not on their site, just in print. )

And her most exciting recent publication (as a Camp Fire survivor) is her thesis poem, “Proxima Centauri, or Anniversary of the Fire,” in California Fire and Water: A Climate Crisis Anthology, edited by Nevada County Poet Laureate (now emeritus), Molly Fisk. Wren was one of the Poet Laureate’s who got large grants from the Academy of American Poets. This is her grant project. Of course, they’d planned a whole tour of California in April (NaPoMo) which got cancelled. Stay tuned for the reboot later in 2020.  https://www.mollyfisk.com/california-fire-water/
