Our most recent MFAW-VT Visiting Alumna Laurel Radzieski just released her first Tedx talk. It is FAB! Listen to Laurel talk about writing poems for strangers:
About Laurel: Laurel Radzieski is a poet and a grant writer. She is the author of Red Mother (NYQ Books, 2018). Laurel’s poems have appeared in Atlas and Alice, Rust + Moth, Glintmoon, SPLASH! and elsewhere, including on roadsides and a street sign in Wisconsin. Her creative practice alternates between research-driven poetry and poems that are written in public settings for strangers. She is the grant writer for Lackawanna College and a teaching artist for Arts in Education in Northeastern Pennsylvania (AIE/nepa). This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
