During the January MFAW-VT residency, our VT faculty was invited to read sections from Alchemy of the Word, and to host a Q & A about writing and the writer’s life, at one of the oldest indie bookstores in the state: Bear Pond Books. It was a snowy night, but we braved the storm to find that the store was full of intrepid Vermonters eager to talk books. So much gratitude to Bear Pond for a wonderful, and thought-provoking evening.
