Clockhouse Call for Submissions

Clockhouse 2015 front coverClockhouse is an eclectic conversation about the work-in-progress of life, a soul arousal, a testing ground, a new community, a call for change.  Clockhouse seeks submissions in poetry, drama, fiction and non-fiction for its 2016 issue.   We are interested in diverse voices and nontraditional narratives, and in writing that attempts to understand our place in the world and responsibility to each other.

Past contributors include Kazim Ali, Charlie Bondhus, Michael Carroll, Marguerite Duras, T Clutch Fleishmann, Cristina Garcia, David Greenspan, Rinne Groff, Cara Hoffman, Amy King, Purvi Shah, Naomi Shihab Nye, and Susan Straight, among others.  We have featured interviews with James Hannaham, Susan Kim, and M.T. Anderson.  Work published in Clockhouse has received Pushcart Prize special mention.

Clockhouse is published by the Clockhouse Writers’ Conference in partnership with the MFAW program at Goddard College. Our reading period is from August 15th-December 1. Writers can submit here: http://clockhouse.net/main/submit.
