Lighthouse Writers’ Conference and Retreat
Request for Workshop Proposals
We seek a diverse range of genres, voices, and experiences on the conference’s theme of urgency. How do we build momentum in our writing? What is it that needs to be said and how do we communicate in a form that resonates with readers? What makes a piece of writing feel pressing, urgent, important, and what gives a piece the power to affect its audience?
If you wish to present a workshop, please respond to the call for proposals by submitting a title and a brief summary by December 17, 2018 to Sarah Townsend, Co-Coordinator LWC&R, sarahtown@gmail.com. Applicants can expect a response by December 24th, 2018. Complete workshop descriptions, title, handouts and a brief biography are due by January 1, 2019. LWC&R will assist in making copies of materials (limit 10 pages) for each individual workshop.
The 2018 program, along with information and materials to register for the Lighthouse Writers’ Conference & Retreat, are available on the CWC website.
Looking forward to seeing you in February, your LWC&R Coordinators,
Jeff Eisenbrey, jeisenbrey@clockhouse.net

Peter Geerlofs, pgeerlofs@clockhouse.net
