Although the long-lasting winter may have made it seem spring would never come, it does now seem to have arrived — and summer, and the Clockhouse Writers’ Conference & Retreat, are not far behind!  Registration remains open until May 15, so please do visit the CWC website for registration materials if you’re thinking of joining us.

The conference occurs during the MFAW-VT residency and includes solitary time for writing; works-in-progress sessions to critique each other’s work; workshops run by you, our creative participants; evening readings and common-room gatherings; and the unveiling of the new issue of Clockhouse, our alumni-run, national literary journal.  We also join the MFAW program for the presentation and Q&A of their visiting professional and for the reading of the Visiting Writer (details to follow in future blogs).

To learn more about CWC and the Clockhouse Writers’ Conference & Retreat, and to download a registration form, please visit www.clockhousewriters.com.  We anticipate a wonderful gathering, and we sincerely hope that you’ll be a part of it!

The 2018 Clockhouse Writers’ Conference & Retreat will take place from July 2 through July 6 on Goddard College’s Plainfield, Vermont, campus. If you’re an alumnus of Goddard’s MFAW program–from either Plainfield or Port Townsend–please consider joining us! Registration forms are available here.
