We’re offering what we hope is a timely reminder that Clockhouse’s submission period is open. We’ve worked hard to get the word out–you’ll see the call in Poets & Writers, The Writer’s Chronicle, New Pages, Narrative, and other outlets–but here’s your personal copy (and please feel free to share!):
Clockhouse, published by the Clockhouse Writers’ Conference in partnership with Goddard College, seeks submissions of creative non-fiction, drama, fiction, and poetry from emerging and established writers for its 2016 issue. We are interested in diverse voices and nontraditional narratives, and in writing that attempts to understand our place in the world and responsibility to each other. Past contributors include Charlie Bondhus, Michael Carroll, Marguerite Duras, T Clutch Fleishmann, Cristina Garcia, David Greenspan, Rinne Groff, Cara Hoffman, Amy King, Purvi Shah, Naomi Shihab Nye, and Susan Straight, among others. CLOCKHOUSE-published work has received Pushcart Special Mention. Deadline, December 1. For submission guidelines and mission statement, visit www.clockhouse.net.
Copies of the 2013, 2014, and 2015 volumes of Clockhouse are available at www.clockhouse.net.
